Dr. Chris Kaufmann, DOM, AP, graduated from the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in June 1995.

He passed the national NCCAOM boards in New York City in Sept 1994.
While attending school, he also interned with Dr. James T. Reese who specialized in Enviromental Medicine along with Oriental and German Biological Medicine.  Kaufmann later joined The Occidental Institute in Vancouver, BC, and started an amazing journey into German Biological and Functional Medicine.

Dr. Kaufmann studied under Dr.Walter Sturm, Dr. Sandy Wood, Dr. Helmut Schimmel, Dr. Daniel Clark, and Dr. Douglas Leber,  just to name a few.
Trips to Germany with the Occidental Research Group gave him the opportunity to work with the “Who’s Who” in functional medicine. Further studies took him into Enviromental Medicine and how enviromental toxins take a toll on one’s health.

The study of Homotoxicology by Hans-Heinrich Reckeweg became a natural way of thinking, in terms of diagnosis, for Dr. Kaufmann and went hand-in-hand with TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine.) An “Art of Healing” was taking shape.

Dr. Kaufmann holds certifications in Bio-Energetic testing, also called Electro Acupuncture according to Voll, or EAV.  Further courses and certifications in Blood Chemistry and Biological Terrain Testing, Homeopathy, Parasitology, Endocrinology, and Thermography were to follow.  The study of Empircal Relationships between Odontomas(dental) and Organ /Diseases was yet another piece to the understanding and complexities of the human body. Dr. Kaufmann taught Introduction to Biological Medicine at the East/West College of Natural Medicine (Acupunture School in Sarasota, Florida) in 1996. Since then, he  has taught numerous clinical presentations at various Alternative Medicine Conferences.
